Videatur Desuper

A series of nude self-portraits that can be seen from above.

At the dawn of reflections on the concept of transhumanism, the series titled 'Videatur Desuper' stands as a response to the following question: 'How to depict a body invaded by foreign entities?' I chose a visual approach 'from above' - literally translated as 'Videatur Desuper' in Latin - by adopting a unique photographic perspective, that of the dive. This method proves to be the only adequate way to expose a body altered, declining, weakened, and vulnerable due to technological and scientific advances. The transparent incorporation of disparate and sometimes incongruous elements such as jellyfish, neurons, and fragments of skin on the body's surface aims to highlight the future chimera within each of us.
